*Students who can not play their music will not be allowed to participate in concerts or performances.

Sept. 12	6th Graders must have instruments	6th Grade Students	Required by County Policy
Oct. 21, 7:00pm	New Hanover County Marching Band Exhibition	8th Graders	Required for 8th grade -- 7th and 6th graders can attend for extra credit!
Dec. 9, 7:00pm	Holiday Concert	All Band Students	Required
Jan. 10, All Day	All-District Auditions	Interested 7th and 8th Graders	Optional
Feb. 6-7	All-District Clinic	Students who made All-District Band	Required of those who made the All-District band.
Feb. 20-21	All-County Clinic	Students who made All-County Band	Required of those who made the All-County Band
March 4-6	NC State Band Festival	7th/8th Grade Band	Required, but only IF we decide to go! (During the school day)
April TBA	Demonstration Concerts	7th/8th Grade Band	Required (During the school day)
April TBA	Spring Arts Trip to Hard Rock Park	Anyone with a "C" or higher in band.	Optional
